About the Knowledge Exchange Manager

Each Knowledge Exchange Manager covers one of seven AHDB Cereals & Oilseeds regions. One of the aims of the regional team is to raise and maintain awareness of AHDB Cereals & Oilseeds in the regions, both with partner organisations but, importantly, with growers themselves. The team is helping AHDB Cereals & Oilseeds become more regionally focused, better understanding regional needs and targeting information more precisely to the sector.

Teresa Meadows ThbEast Anglia

Knowledge Exchange Manager:
Teresa Meadows

Teresa Meadows joined AHDB Cereals & Oilseeds as Knowledge Exchange Manager for East Anglia in November 2016. She grew up on a sheep and beef farm in Dorset, and more recently, spent over five years as Catchment Advisor for Essex & Suffolk Water. She is passionate about working with farmers, agronomists and the whole supply chain to help to improve farm sustainability and productivity.

Paul HillSouth East

Knowledge Exchange Manager:
Paul Hill

Paul Hill joins AHDB Cereals & Oilseeds as Regional Manager for the South East with extensive experience in land management in the area. His career in agriculture began on commercially-run arable and livestock farms, followed by 18 years establishing new farming ventures and methodologies. Before working for AHDB, Paul was a farm business advisor in Hampshire. He is committed to ensuring that farming can thrive and is keen that farmers are encouraged to continue driving the industry forward.

Knowledge Exchange Manager:
Philip Dolbear

Taunton-based Philip joined AHDB Cereals & Oilseeds from HSBC Agriculture, where he was Senior Agriculture Manager in the South West region. Having studied agriculture at university, Philip spent seven years as a Senior Business Management Consultant with ADAS before developing his career with HSBC.

He brings substantial business management experience to the Regional Team, and a detailed understanding of the complexities of the industry in the region.

West and Wales

RM ThbKnowledge Exchange Manager:
Richard Meredith

Richard Meredith grew up on a family farm in Herefordshire, and is based in Ledbury. He joined AHDB first as a Regional Benchmarking Officer, providing benchmarking support to AHDB Cereals & Oilseeds, AHDB Beef & Lamb and AHDB Dairy levy payers. Prior to that, Richard worked for five years with a machinery ring co-ordinating contracting and hire services in the agricultural and related sectors. As AHDB Cereals & Oilseeds Regional Manager, Richard is passionate about helping to strengthen UK farm businesses, making them more resilient in the long term.

East Midlands

Judith StaffordKnowledge Exchange Manager:
Judith Stafford

Coming from a dairy farm in the Peak District, Judith Stafford joins AHDB Cereals & Oilseeds after nearly seven years as an extension officer with AHDB Dairy. Judith completed her PhD studying oilseed rape at the University of Nottingham, and has also researched drought tolerant wheat varieties and nematology in sugar beet. Prior to joining AHDB, Judith taught secondary science for 11 years. With a career that has so far encompassed agricultural research, education and knowledge transfer, Judith is interested in how farmers can share their ideas and innovations.
