This publication covers all the main areas associated with the growth of this crop – from understanding the market, to its agronomic, harvest and storage requirements. The guide also signposts to a wide range of further reference sources.

Originally published in 2005, the publication was revised in 2015. When printed copies ran out late in 2017, AHDB took the opportunity to rebrand the publication.

Although the technical content remains the same as the 2015 revision, the reissued 2018 guide has a fresh new look and is easier to navigate.

AHDB plans to issue a fully revised guide in 2019.
